Great Apple Cord

I love this cord. My other cords are getting tangled up. This one doesn't. Extend to whatever length you need. After receiving my first I ordered two more. Haven't had long so can't speak to that.

Have had this charging cord for about three months. It still works, which is always a concern with iPhone cords. I keep it my car for my wife's iPhone 5. So far no warning messages about not being compatible. She does have the Lifeproof case and while it's a tight fit, it does plug in without removing the case. The cord is very beefy and flat. The retract mechanism is bigger that other retractable cords I've used. This is due to the size of the cord, but gives the feeling that it should last. I would definitely purchase again if we add iPhones that use the lightning plug.

This retractable cable seems much heavier duty than others on the market. For retractable cables, most of them are quite flimsy. I was impressed with the heavier duty construction.

Highly recommended product for use with the ipad mini. Loved the design of the retractable cord turned in the direction so it prevents wearing of the bending and pulling. I would predict this cord to last longer than the traditional,design. Fast shipping to the remote desert SW too! Will order more accessories!

I bought this to replace another, cheaper, retractable cord which I use in my car. Retractable cords in the car are the best as they store nicely, yet have the reach they need.
The cable part is solid. Solid. No flimsy wire. Solid housing. This is a *cable*, not a wire. The housing is equally impressive. Solid. Great mechanics and great protection. They built a plastic tank to house this.
PLUS, it is Apple Certified. Which means that you will not have to worry about it shorting out something on your phone or iPod, like the last one fried my headphone jack. I have found that Apple Certified cables also feel more solid connecting them into the Lightening jack. No wiggle room. Just a solid connect.
