I've owned a number of retractable USB cables. They're convenient, because I don't need to wad them up and worry about securing them.

I've been using the Gear Beast cable to charge every device that needs charging. It has not failed me yet.

The only thing I don't like is it doesn't always retract if it's only partially extended. To ensure it will retract, I must fully extend it. This is the first retractable cable I own with this issue. It will retract, just with a tad more effort than other retractable cables.
