Good stratch protection

If you want a cover to protect the back of your phone, then the GripJelly is a good option. Gear Beast also makes a nice "360 degree" protector called the GearShield which I recommend if you want a protector with built in screen and rear protection on your phone.
Installation is very simple. You simply slide it around your phone and you're done.
The sides are more of a rubber feel, so your phone won't slip out of your hand. The rear of the one I received is smoky, so the back of the phone is visible but not perfectly so. This is fine for me, but if you want clear so you can show off your color choice, the smoke may not be for you. Looking at the photos, "clear" may not be the option you want either.
The GripJelly offers better gripability than the standard phone, is easy to install and does a good job protecting the back of your phone. The slightly raised sides mean you can put the phone down screen first and not have to worry about scratching the screen (if the surface is flat and debris free of course), so placing face down on the table is fine.

Love it it is flexible and fits my phone like a glove, it is slim and not bulky, yet I feel like my phone is fully protected

I had no trouble at all installing this case on my phone: It is just one simple piece; a translucent, matte-finish back and shiny, rubbery sides. It fits nice and tight. It is as minimal and simple as cases come. It is designed to show off your phone. It will maintain its light weight and slim shape. It will also prevent your phone from sliding around on a counter top or table. It is easy to grab and will help you hold on to your phone if you are a fumble-fingers.
I've put it on and taken it off several times now. If I'm heading out to play rough, I switch it out for a tougher case. This one I like for slipping into my purse or pocket when I'm heading to the office or out to the store.
It is best used by people who threat their phones with TLC. If you use it with a screen protector, it will protect your phone from scratches caused by rings, zippers, change and keys in your pocket, nail files, pens, hair clips in your purse. It is not padded enough to protect from long drops to a cement floor or angry throws against a wall. No protection from stepping on or tires rolling over, either.
Depending on the color you choose--I've got the clear--it will provide you with an understated, sophisticated look. It is not an attention-grabber. It is not meant to be.
Buy it for what it is. Don't buy it, then complain about it for what it is not: If you are looking for a case that is hefty and well padded, eye-catching, and indestructible under extreme conditions and negligent, rough handling: This is NOT the case you are looking for. This case will let the good looks of your phone shine through. After all, the iPhone 5 is a beauty, right? So slim and lightweight and with vibrant screen colors. Why would you hide it under a bulky case if you didn't have to?
