I've used this arm band a number of times now and it works well. I don't need to use the extender on my arms. I'm a slim 6' 185, and I don't have huge biceps. If you work out your arms a lot, you will likely need the extender.
This case fits my iPhone 5s perfectly without the case. I can get it in with my case, but it's a tight fit and harder to use. I am pleased with this purchase and recommend it. -

This arm band is excellent! I highly recommend it... I have an iPhone 5c and it's very comfortable. Doesn't slip too much while running. I will be using this while training for a half-marathon this spring.
